Characteristics of Pearls
Pearls are susceptible to acids, heat, and water.
If sweat, dust, cosmetics, or sunscreen are left on the pearls, the surface of the pearl can be eroded by acid and sweat, leading to a loss of luster.
Care Instructions
After each use, gently wipe off any sweat or dirt from the pearls with a soft, dry cloth.
Recommended cloths include microfiber cloths, such as non-abrasive spectacle cloths, or deerskin (chamois leather) cloths. Tissues are not recommended as they may scratch the pearls.
The most effective care is to wipe them diligently after each use.
