A piece that becomes something like a quiet talisman. klar is the German word for "clear." We named this brand klar hoping that wearing our jewelry would bring a sense of clarity — like stepping outside into clean morning air.

Born in Fukuoka, Japan, in 1982. Graduated from Tokyo Zokei University with a degree in Visual Communication Design. While working at graphic design studios in Tokyo and Fukuoka, she launched the predecessor to klar in 2007. From 2014, she lived in Germany for five years, exhibiting and selling work in Tokyo, Fukuoka, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Leipzig, and Vilnius. klar began in 2021.
